CVS help

Stavros is a Maxima developer who asked other Maxima developers for specific
advice related to his work on Maxima. As a Maxima developer, I found his
question and the ensuing discussion informative, useful, and entirely
appropriate for this list.

Even if it weren't, until and unless people start using this list to discuss
topics like Britney Spears' hairdo, let us respect each other's time and not
clutter the list with unnecessary and confrontational "topic police"
messages, if I may respectfully suggest.

exactly. CVS and MAXIMA are way different things.

I appreciate your development and I respect the work on maxima people
already done.
And I do take into account the fact that I personally did nothing useful
to Maxima (yet?), so my opinion could be of low value to the people.

But you do should find your CVS answers elsewhere: SF site has good
documentation on this, and you can contact your colleagues directly.

I expect maxima discussion on maxima list.

With really large respect,
Vadim.
