As you are no doubt aware, often a "command" in a programming language
is associated with a procedure that is not defined as a mapping
between inputs and outputs, but is instead invoked for side effects. I
think we want to preserve the notion that nintegrate and similar
things are invoked for their value.
perhaps: "Mathematical function", and "computational function"
