While I am dismayed by the appearance of this bug,
and I hope it is fixed soon, I'll only wait a few days for
a bug fix. If there is a bug fix by, let's say, Thursday,
I'll roll out another release candidate. Otherwise I'll
bake the existing rc2 as 5.13.0.
The rationale here is that Maxima has several hundred
open bug reports, many of which are roughly the same
severity as this one. So long as there are so many unfixed
bugs, I don't see much reason to delay a release for any
one of them.
I'm not opposed to a 5.13.1 release, soon after 5.13.0,
which contains only bug fixes applied to the 5.13 branch.
