Gnuplot is not well suited for 3d modelling (in fact, this is a
recurrent question in gnuplot's news group). That said, I think we could
draw some 3d geometric objects like discs, polygons, cylinders, cones, etc.
One of the problems is that surfaces cannot be coloured, only edges
(pm3d doesn't help much).
I made some experiments with gnuplot in the past trying to figure out
how to implement all that in package draw.
