Robert,
Well, I have access, too. The interface in question is under Admin/Backups,
and I was able to obtain an XML backup of the bugs list. There is also
advice about backing up subversion repositories... haven't tried that yet,
but, time permitting, I'll probably set up some scripts on my server in the
near future, to grab a backup of everything (including bugs and subversions,
if possible) once a week or so.

The bug database (and all the other trackers, which are not much
used by Maxima) can be dumped into an XML file.
I forget how to do it but it is somewhere on one of the project
admin pages. Only a project administrator can do it,
so that means you, me, or Andrej V at this point.
I guess we should dump the bug db every now & then as well.
best
Robert
