When should I use Solve(eqns) and Invert(m).b

Hello to everyone.
     I have to make a choice. Whether to use solve or to use matrix
inversion when there are 25000 variables, mostly sparse matrix. Which option
is faster? Is there even faster way to solve linear equations?
