Whenever I finish using Maxima, I find many files cluttering up my
$HOME directory, such as:
gnu-optionsxx
maxout.gnuplot
maxout.mgnuplot
I understand that these are related to gnuplot as well as Maxima. How
can I configure Maxima/GNUplot to store it's temp files in ~/.maxima
or /tmp?
If this question is answered in the fine manual then please point it
out. I am just getting my feet wet with Maxima and the docs, as I am
certain that I have missed quite a lot. Thanks in advance.
