Maxima's Logotype

OK, here are my arguments for the new logotype:

  * The new logotype is not completely new and it's based on the the old 
version.
  * The new logotype is easy to be reproduced.
  * The old logotype could be read like "Ksi-M-Sigma"---I guess it's not 
intended.
  * The old logotype contains overlapping symbols so it couldn't be 
transformed in a readable printable version; the new sign is easy to be 
printed b/w (actually, we can set arbitrary background color).
  * The new logotype could be scaled up and down nicely while the big version 
of old one is rendered roughly.

So, the old sign is a bit old-fashioned and less practical.

I suggest other project participants to choose from these versions.
