What is your definition of inf such that 2*inf is not equal to inf? Do
you have a consistent system where limit(2*x,x,inf) = 2*inf but
limit(x,x,inf) = inf?

Only if it assumes that integrate(a*inf,x,0,0) = a. It seems unlikely
that that is a safe assumption....
