Is there a simple way (a flag to set maybe ?) to prevent load or batch to insert (... SRC), for instance as in:
(%i7) load("Test0.mc"); /* where X:[a,b]; */
(%o7) C:/Maxima/Test0.mc
(%i8) :lisp #$X$
((MLIST SIMP (1 C:/Maxima/Test0.mc SRC)) $A $B)
to get the exactly the same stream delivered to Maxima as from direct console input; as in:
(%i8) kill(X);
(%o8) done
(%i9) X:[a,b];
(%o9) [a, b]
(%i10) :lisp #$X$
((MLIST SIMP) $A $B)
No doubt (... SRC) might be useful if you need it but if you don't and want to see instead an uncluttered lisp form of very complex expressions coming from a file it might become just like unwanted weed ...
Many thanks for any reply.
