chapter 5,Maxima by Example

Hi Richard,

I just went to the page
http://www.csulb.edu/~woollett/

via Internet Explorer without problems.
You could try going first to the Calif. State Univ at Long Beach Physics and
Astron.
Dept. , http://www.csulb.edu/depts/physics/

and getting to my page via the emeritus faculty link.

Let me know if you still can't access my page.
I know the State of Calif. has severe financial problems
these days ;)

I am unable to access your site. Maybe the link is wrong perhaps? Or maybe
they are having difficulties?

Rich

Hi Oliver,

Yes the pdf files are meant to be freely available.
I am not distributing the latex files since these notes,
with modifications, may eventually turn into a Lulu.com
paperback book, (or?).

Maybe I should insert something like the above in the pdf's?

The qdraw.mac interface is copyright under the
GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE, Version 2, June 1991,
and the homework exercises encourage the user to
add new functions to a copy (under some
name like "myqdraw.mac".

Since this is "version 1.00" I am sure some qdraw bugs will show up soon.
I welcome any and all feedback, positive or negative.
My Maxima programming skills are still in the beginner class.
