Ask Stavros about that---he wrote do-merge-asym with zero input from
me. We haven't had all that many nset bugs for sometime, and I'm
hesitant to do something that might introduce new bugs. Maybe we could
copy do-merge-asym to compar and change it's name to do-merge-asym-compar?
