I am not sure that I do it correctly:
I have already committed the changes to the branch "HEAD". To do the commit on
the branch 5.16 release branch I have prepared the following:
I have called on my CVS (TortoiseCVS) the menu "Update special ..." for the file
expintegral.lisp.
In this menu I can mark a box "Get tag/branch/revision". Then I can choose the
branch "RELEASE-5_16-BRANCH".
After the update I have the old file in my sandbox without the changes to
cabs/abs.
So it seems to me that I am now working on the desired branch for the file
expintegral.lisp.
I have done again the changes in the file.
In the menu "CVS commit ..." I can call a diff. The diff shows correctly the
changes I have made.
Is it now correct to commit the file expintegral.lisp again? Is the above
selected branch correct?
You see, I have not much practice with CVS.
