Hello Juan,
the tests which fail on your system with CLISP 2.39 concern the accuracy of the
following numerical evaluations of the Maxima function bessel_i
Problem 231: bessel_i(- 2.5, - 1.5)
Problem 232: bessel_i(- 2.5, 1.5)
Problem 242: bessel_i(2.5, - 1.0)
We had a discussion on this mailing list about this problem:
[Maxima] Clisp & Bessel function errors, was: Maxima 5.16.1 release
With the newer version CLISP 2.44 the tests should no longer fail.

Betreff: [Maxima] Maxima 5.16.3 on OpenSolaris
Hi,
I'm testing the current release of Maxima on OpenSolaris snv_86 with
CLisp 2.39 and SBCL 1.0.7.
*. Compilation and Installation ... Ok,
*. Testsuite perform: With CLisp the rtest14.mac test (problems 231
232 242 not passed)
With SBCL: No problems and errors.
I hope to do some test with GCL and ECL.
Bye,
