Hi,
Here's documentation for the pdf/pdfcairo patch.
As far as I can tell only maxima-5.16.3/doc/info/draw.texi is affected.
Attached is a patch file draw.texi.diff
To apply:
cd to maxima-5.6.13
cat draw.texi.diff | patch -p1 --verbose
