New Maxima

Just now reading my maxima emails, after a slight hiatus. I realize I'm
in the midst of a *possibly* important discussion regarding a possible
future for the name of this program.

Here is something I thought about, off the top, in this regard, sofar:
How long do you expect the car "Maxima" to be around, versus the
mathematical program, "maxima?" i.e., which might hold up functionally,
through space & time with greater longevity & relevancy? & don't tell
me that no one here has heard of "peak oil?" & I did a simple google
search using "maxima," autos were not the only result, but the math
program was the *second* of *40,700,000 returns* for *"maxima"*

My x=0.02 cents worth, with a grain of salt.

Regards,
Henry
