Hello,
I think I resolved the problem with the texinfo files and I've
tagged version-5_17_0 in cvs and built tar.gz and src.rpm and
rpms and uploaded them to Sourceforge.

If someone can build and upload a Windows installer, that would be great.
Please give it a try and let us know how it works out.
