If you are using wxMaxima then you should put in in the %installdir%/wxMaxima folder. If you are using command line maxima put it
in the %installdir%/bin folder. I think that works for xMaxima too, put it in the %installdir%/bin folder. On my system I
installed to C:/Maxima-5.17.0/ so I put it in both C:/Maxima-5.17.0/wxMaxima and C:/Maxima-5.17.0/bin
