Yes, but not on the 5.17 branch.
Current behavior is annoying but not incorrect, and it's annoying
in the same way that all the asksign stuff is annoying.
So I don't see a good reason to fix this particular instance of it.
Let's focus on somehow getting rid of asksign nuttiness in general.
