Done.

Below the text I wrote.
Volker

Hi Camm,

I noticed that the Maxima share packages are separate from Maxima in
Debian.
So it may happen that if I have missed to update the share packages
build_info() might say that my Maxima version is 5.17.1 but it does not
tell me that
my share package is eventually outdated.
In the last days there was a posting to the Maxima list which pointed to
this problem:
Someone with a Maxima 5.17.1 installation didn't understand why a share
package
doesn't work as intended.

It's true that some parts of the share packages in Maxima are
experimental but there are
also a lot of share packages which became somehow important to Maxima
itself
even though they are not part of src. Meanwhile a lot of share functions
are autoloaded.

It would be great if the share packages could be merged into Maxima
itself in Debian
to make sure that the versions of share and src fit to each other.
Please let me (us) know
if this is possible.

Thanks for supporting Maxima in Debian
Greetings
Maxima developer Volker van Nek
