Fwd: 3D Plot scale

Sam, I'm taking the liberty of forwarding your message to the
mailing list since unfortunately I really don't have any answers for you.

What are the problems you have encountered on the 64 bit system?
I have run into problems with 64 bit stuff in a different context ...
maybe some commonly-used libraries are not fully baked?
Just a guess.

best

Wow, thanks for the prompt reply. Attached is what exactly I'm trying
to do. Also, while I'm talking to an expert, I had a couple other
questions that have been hanging on my mind for a bit. Feel free to
answer as many of them as you want.

1) How should one go about printing a graph in gnuplot?
2) Is there a way to plot polar coordinates in Maxima?
3) Wxmaxima has a print option however it is grayed under my file
menu, is there a simple solution for this?
and finally
4) I'm also using maxima on my 64bit machine, however I find both
wxmaxima and the terminal to be extremely glitchy (particluarly during
plotting, and ODE solving). Is maxima still in a transition phase to
64 bit or is this an anomaly?

Much appreciated,

Sam
