In the beginning, a variable named "alpha" was used, and the following was
still not work.
plot2d ([parametric, cos(alpha), sin(alpha), [alpha,-%pi,%pi],
[nticks,80]], [x, -4/3, 4/3])$
So, you can try other variable, for example tt3t...
