how to use "set arrow"

Dear all
       I want to plot the x-axis and y-axis on [x,-5,5],[y,-5,5]
that is my command
f(x):=x;
plot2d([exp(x),-exp(x),log(x),-log(x),f(0),f(x)],[x,-5,5],[y,-5,5],[gnuplot_preamble,"set
  grid;set size ratio -1;set arrow 4 rto 5"]);

that is my question
1. set arrow -5 rto 5 # that can not be draw (i.e. the range of x-axis), but set arrow 4 rto 5 is OK
(1) Can I draw a x-axis from -5,0 to 5,0
(2) How can I draw a y-axis from 0,-5 to 0,5
