Hi all,

provides a lot of links to user contributed packages.
Perhaps Maxima should do the same.
Especially for Ubuntu-users we should recommend not to
use the old "stabil" packages from the official repository.
http://zeus.nyf.hu/~blahota/linux/
seems to be a good address for Maxima-deb-packages.
