I'm a pretty new Maxima user and I often find myself using Google to
find documentation or examples of Maxima usage. It's a little
frustrating to find lots of results for Nissans instead of computer
algebra. I have the same problem with searching for R tutorials and
docs, lots of noise in the results. I made a Google custom search
engine that takes care of those annoyances. It favours results from
sites like:
- maxima.sourceforge.net
- octave.org
- r-project.org
- scipy.org
It does a pretty good job of bumping up the signal to noise ratio (for
me at least).
I'd be interested to hear from the list about other sites that might
be good to add to a tool like this.

Thanks for your time and (hopefully) recommendations.
