Hello Richard,

what version of Maxima your are using?

Your example works for me. I am using Maxima 5.18post.

(%i4) integrate(1/(x^2+1)*exp(-%i*%pi*x*t),x,minf,inf);
Is t positive, negative, or zero?

p;
(%o4) %pi*%e^-(%pi*t)
(%i5) integrate(%*exp(%i*%pi*x*t),t);
(%o5) %pi*%e^(%i*%pi*t*x-%pi*t)/(%i*%pi*x-%pi)

I have not checked if the result is correct.
