I checked: it has been (incorrectly) "conditionalized out" out of the
GCL version, and probably the CLISP version.
The same exact same source code works for Allegro CL. Capitalization,
packages, and shadowing of
existing systems, perhaps plus the strange rEVERSE cAPITALIZATION used
to suppose two cases in Maxima.
