I visited maxima.sourceforge.net today and noticed a few things:

1. the new user-contributed code page is not listed on the maxima front
page. In fact, I couldn't find a link to it anywhere.

(the page in question is https://sourceforge.net/apps/phpbb/maxima/viewforum.php?f=3)

2. while the RSS feed lists the latest (5.18.1) release, the html
mentions only 5.17.*
