OpenSuSE (wx)Maxima help function empty

I am not sure, which part is responsible for may be wx... or Maxima:

Calling the HELP-Function (F1) leeds to a new dialog window which has no
content.
(no content, index, search, nothing to browse)

using
wxMaxima 0.8.2 http://wxmaxima.sourceforge.net
Maxima 5.18.1 http://maxima.sourceforge.net
Using Lisp CLISP 2.44.1 (2008-02-23)

under Opensuse 11.0 or opensuse 11.1

works fine with
wxMaxima 0.7.6 http://wxmaxima.sourceforge.net
Maxima 5.16.2 http://maxima.sourceforge.net
Using Lisp CLISP 2.44.1 (2008-02-23)


any help needed
