I have redownloaded the tar.gz source file
and checked it against the previously downloaded one
and I can tell they are identical.
The virtualizer I am using is: Virtualbox 3.0.4. (the very latest).
To be very precise: I am used a slightly modified
Ubuntu distribution called Mint (the latest stable version).
If I can recall correctly I had the same problem wih
Maxima 5.18.0 and Ubuntu (under Virtualbox).
Has anyone tried to compile maxima under Virtualbox
or any other virtualizer?
This used to work with previous versions of Maxima
and of Virtualbox.
