I've looked into both Clojure and ABCL.
Clojure is so far from CL that porting Maxima is IMHO not possible -
the only way would be a rewrite.
You are understandably confused. Clozjure CL and Clozure are two
different languages. The former is an implementation of CL. The latter
is not. I believe the current thread was considering the former, not
the latter.
