Oh, I also wanted to point out that this version of intl.lisp can also
create a maxima.pot file.  It also allows you to write _"foo" instead of
(intl:gettext "foo").  This feature isn't enabled.  But if it were, it
also has the ability to save comments from the original Lisp source and
save that in the pot file.  This allows the translator to see comments
on how to translate a string, in case it's not clear.  This means the
translator doesn't have to be a developer, too, to be able to translate
the messages.

None of these features are enabled.
