Hello,
see attached file in maxima.
changevar(%y-z^2/a,z,y)gives an integral as in attached
file.
normaly is the upperlimit 2sqrt(a)
lowerlimit 0
after the change of variable
y=z^2/a dy=2z/a dz
why gives maxima after the change of variable the minus
sign before the integral and lowerlimit -2sqrt(a)
the minus sign before the integral is due because you
change the limite of integration,but why -2sqrt(a)
