possible bug in random

Hi all,

I'm using maxima 5.19.2  and I'm getting some strange results with random. Using random(1.0), I always obtain the same sequence of "random" numbers:

.9138095996128959

.1951846177977887

.4823905248516196

I have not tried in a newer version. This is the last one available for macosx in sourceforge. Anyone else see the same behaviour?
