The patch to the handle 0^a is part of Maxima 5.21. But this patch is
not fully implemented, I had to reverse part of it, because we have got
problems at other places. Therefore, Maxima 5.21 does not solve your
problem.
First, we have to improve other routines to handle unsimplified 0^a
expressions. I will have again a look at this problem and try to
implement full support of 0^a expressions.
