problem trying to build maxima-5.21post



Greetings!

The current stable tag is

cvs -d :pserver:anonymous at cvs.sv.gnu.org:/sources/gcl co -d gcl-2.6.8pre -r Version_2_6_8pre gcl

This is aka gcl_2.6.7-60 in Debian, and builds all the standard
packages there without issue.  I'm missing the head of this thread,
but in case you are working on some rpm distro, I'd encourage you to
update the gcl binary there to these sources.
