In the not so distant future, I would like to make a program that uses Java to implement physics simulations or something of the sort and maybe advanced computations so I was hoping I could make Maxima do the calculations and then return the value of a computation to my Java program so that I could display the output OR use it to do something. But I am hoping for a solution that is as easy as possible.
Could someone please help me get started? I have no idea what to even search for on the internet to begin!
