I have been looking into increasing memory available to Maxima and it seems that, from what I have determined, I would have to rebuild rebuild GCL with a higher ?maxpages? value _and_ then rebuild Maxima on my system using the new Lisp exe. Is how to rebuild GCL a better question for a Lisp mailing list and if so could someone point me to the right list or to some website with some documents with this information?

PS I may post this to Gcl-devel mailing lisp but I don?t want to annoy the developers with this issue.
