Compilation failure due to missing maxima.system.in

When I try to compile from CVS, compilation fails due to the file
src/maxima.system.in missing. If I copy src/maxima.system to
src/maxima.system.in, I can compile fine. Is this a regression in CVS or am
I missing something obvious?
