I run the normal prebuilt Maxima for Windows (32-bit) on Windows 7 (64-bit)
with no problem. Normal users should not need a 64-bit build of Maxima.
I use the xmaxima front end.
I don't normally use the wxMaxima front end or command line Maxima, but I
just tried them out, and they seem to work fine.
