Fwd: CVS/Git conversions for Maxima

I know that we're planning a switch to Git, but for what it's worth, I was
able to fix the CVS commit scripts and we should all be getting commit
notifications again.

I would welcome very much the new Git repo. I have no longer committed
any code, because of the missing messages and it is very difficult to
follow the last changes. When we have a new repo, I would like to work
again on bugs.

Leo, thank you very much for the work.
