(1) Maybe (%i7) should be e3 : ...?
(2) The function solve does not handle equations that involve a variable and its conjugate.
(3) Changing (%i7) to e3 : ..., and eliminating ix,iy, and v yields an equation for i that
has no solution, I'm pretty sure.
