I doubt it.  During install, the files are installed in
MAXIMA_PREFIX/share/info and not in MAXIMA_PREFIX/info (regardless of
whether my patch is applied or not).  Within Sage, the directory
MAXIMA_PREFIX/info exists but is empty.  So it really seems like
MAXIMA_PREFIX/share/info is the correct "infodir".
