I am sure the equations are linear an that they have a solution, I am just
trying to reproduce what is in the paper: Kondoh Y. et al (1994).
I don`t think that maxima has a problem with more equations than variables.
Don't tell me. Post it.
Are you sure the equations are linear in those variables?
Are you sure the equations are consistent and have a solution?
If there are 24 equations you should have 24 variables.
