integrate(sin(x)^2/x,x,minf,inf);

What version of Maxima are you running? In Maxima 5.25.1 GCL 2.6.8, I get:

(%i1) integrate(sin(x)^2/x,x,minf,inf);
Principal Value
(%o1) 0
