High school student needed to port Maxima to Raspberry Pi

According to this page, Clojure runs on Raspberry Pi, but it doesn't appear that anyone has tested Maxima on it yet.

Even a slow $35 Maxima server should have some interest for high schools!

I'm sure that the next version of this device will include builtin wifi, and even now, wifi dongles cost about $2 on Amazon (you probably want to add a powered USB hub to expand the USB ports).
