I see the same thing for:
wxmaxima-12.04.0
maxima-5.28.0
SBCL-1.0.58
on Mac OS 10.8.
Though the failure from 'run_testsuite(display_all = true);' isn't quite
as severe for me as it was for Paul: I was able to shut the wxmaxima
window down.
