I run the test suite on Vista in a VirtualBox.

using Lisp GNU Common Lisp (GCL) GCL 2.6.8 (a.k.a. GCL)

GCL is from git I assume.
In GCL 2.6.7 which I installed from debian sid to build Maxima on Linux
these problems are not present.
