I don't know much about gentoo, but 19c is ancient; the current
version is 20d. I think more recent versions may have even fixed the
-I-/-iquote issue. Don't know about the posix_types_32.h or unistd.h
issues, though. They would probably get those issues fixed if the
updated or reported them somewhere like the cmucl mailing list or bug
tracker. (Not your problem, though!)
I regularly build and test with cmucl, so I know maxima works just
fine with cmucl. I haven't tested with older versions of cmucl, but I
think most will work just fine.
