Maxima-5.29.0 looked OK for me in initial limited testing (just a few
simple expressions). However, there seems to be an output
incompatibility with wxMaxima-12.09.0. I'm testing on Mac OS 10.8.2.
With wxMaxima-12.09.0 and Maxima-5.29.0 (using SBCL-1.1.2), I get output
like:
(%i1) 1;
mlabel(%o1,1)
whereas with wxMaxima-12.09.0 and Maxima-5.28.0, (using SBCL-1.1.1 and
built on the same machine) I get what I would have expected:
(%i1) 1;
(%o1) 1;
Since I'm only supporting one Maxima version at a time, I'll probably
hold need to hold off on releasing Maxima-5.29 until the wxMaxima issue
can be resolved, since a good number of my users are going to complain
if I break wxMaxima for them.
